Surrounded by a private English Meadow garden, and with your own wood-fired hot tub and sauna, cold-plunge bath, outdoor shower, fire pit area, BBQ and hammock, your hardest decision will be where to watch the sunset from!
The Gardens
The garden has been mindfully designed by local experts at Holden Clough to bring you the feel of a peaceful English Meadow Garden. It’s taken months of planning, preparation and allowing the plants to grow in to finally see our ideas come to life!
The Hot Tub
The hot tub is a “wood-fired hiki bohemian bath”.
What does this mean?
The bath uses clean water with no added chemicals, and is heated using a fire. It takes 1.5-2 hours to heat the water up to around 40˚C however I do offer a prelight service if you’d like it to be ready to hop into on arrival! With the tub, you get enough logs to get it heated up, and more are available to purchase from the honesty shop should you wish to top it up. Once heated, without adding more logs, it should stay warm for 1-2 hours (depending on the outside temperature!).
The hot tub is located inside of its own cabin, with an electric heater, to keep you warm and sheltered even in the coldest months. Facing out onto the fields, it’s the perfect place to soak in nature and watch the sunset.
The Sauna
The sauna is located just next to the hot tub. It is also wood fired and takes around 45 minutes to get up to temperature.
You’ll get enough logs to get the sauna heated up for use. If you need more, I have some available for purchase in the honesty shop.
To add to your wellness weekend, you’ll also find a cold-plunge bath and an outdoor shower located between the hot tub cabin and the shepherd hut!
There is also a hammock and seating carefully placed to admire the surrounding countryside and gardens, as well as a firepit and BBQ for you to use.
Smores on your mind? You can buy smores packs as well as lots of other treats and drinks, plus logs for the firepit in the honesty shop.
Guests have full, private access to the shepherd’s hut, the surrounding meadow garden, outdoor seating area, wellness space, and fire pit. The space is completely self-contained and not shared with anyone else. There’s ample parking, an EV charger, and a private entrance to the property, so you can come and go with ease.
